EMSBTC Champ Show moves to the KC Building, Stoneleigh!

Due to unforeseen circumstances surrounding use of our usual venue at Hinckley the East Midlands SBT Club has found it necessary to move venue and change the date of their Championship show  this year.  

We are delighted to tell you that our Championship show will now take place on Sunday 8th November and that we have booked the Kennel Club building at Stoneleigh for that event.

Initially the change of date was problematic, as it clashed with the Open Show scheduled by Morecambe Bay & Cumbria SBTC.  However, in a spirit of true co-operation,  the Committee of MB&C were very understanding,  co-operating fully with the East Mids and agreeing to move their own show to a new date in October.

Obviously, the Club is both pleased and relieved that this problem has been overcome and is indebted to the MB&C Committee for their help.  We would like to thank everyone involved for their co-operation.

We are now very excited at the prospect of using the Kennel Club Building (East Hall) at Stoneleigh, which is a fantastically well equipped and prestigious custom-built facility offering just about everything the Club, exhibitors (and their dogs) could possibly desire.  Needless to say, we are looking forward to staging our 2009 Championship Show to best effect!  

This same venue had also been booked for our 2010 Diamond Jubilee Championship Show – A Celebration of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier!  Watch this space for more news about this very special event in next year’s Staffie calendar!
